Being a parent is the toughest job. It takes a lot to be an ideal parent and creating a loving, caring and safe environment for your child while handling all their tantrums and mood swings.

your kid is a life-long job.To motivate your child, you should build a strong rapport between you and your child. There should be two way communication.
Now a days it is difficult for parents to spend time with their kids because of their working hours. Try to find sometime for your kids even though your schedule is busy. Sometimes all you need to do is to listen to your kid.
The most important thing you should keep in mind while telling anything to your child is that you should be positive. Sometimes, it becomes difficult to convey to your kid regarding the things he should or shouldn’t do. It is a tough task to explain them the things which are beneficial for them. Instead of saying it in anger or by frustration, explain them in a positive manner. By telling things positively to your child, you can save him from drowning in ocean of negativity.
The second most important thing is to appreciate and give feedback to them. When they do a good job, praise them for their efforts and at the same time do not criticize them for their mistakes. It will help them to feel important and successful and it will help them to learn the things which you are trying to teach them.
Kids always learn by observing things around them and people around them. If you want certain qualities in your children like good habits and behaviour, lead them by giving example, and try to convey the message to them by yourself following the same things. If you would like to set goals for children, then set goals for yourself first and reward them, for their good work as every kid likes to receive an award for their performance
