These are days where a large number of moms are working moms and this brings a challenge to them as they have to balance their working life as well as family life. For working moms, managing time is extremely critical as they spend around 40 to 50 hours a week at their workplace.
These moms can be termed as ‘supermoms’. Here are a few tips for working moms-
- Decide well in advance the responsibilities that you and your husband will share, because parenting is not a single parent job, it should be a balanced job of both (husband and wife) having equal responsibilities. You can also make a schedule regarding your working time and responsibilities. It will help you to manage your time accordingly and also help in balancing work and family.
- Stay in touch with school of your child, don't miss school meetings, behave as a friend with your child and also make sure that he is going around in good friend circle, in school as well as in society.
- Children always expect love and affection from their parents and parents should identify that and accordingly try to fulfill their expectations. For doing this, you must spend quality time with them either by playing with them or by helping them in their studies as well as you can also spend your weekends with your children. In this weekend itself feed lots of love to your kids, in such a way that, for the next week he or she shouldn’t find your emptiness.
- Fix a schedule and make sure that you are able to give sufficient time to your child. You must have at least one meal of the day, preferably dinner, with your child. Spending quality time with your kids will also help you to get rid of all your workload stress.
- Make your child independent by allowing him or her to take decisions of small problems on their own. By this way, they will develop understanding of the world and become responsible. But when you are doing this, make sure that your child is on the right track, and if he goes on wrong way then guide him for making it right.
